An Eye Mind Trick for You

Try This Eye Trick Right Now

This eye trick will demonstrate a little-known connection between our eyes and our thoughts. Why not try it right now?

There is a connection between what you think and what your eyes do. There is also a simple eye tick that you can do right now to prove that connection. Practice it, and you’ll soon be able to control your pupil size at will. Why would you want to do this? More on that in a moment.

First, let’s start with a basic understanding of how your pupils work. They open up to let more light in when it is darker, and close up or get smaller when there is a lot of light. You probably already knew this, right? What you may not have known is that your pupils also get larger or smaller according to what you are looking at.

A persons pupil’s get bigger when he or she feels aroused, interested, receptive, or all three of these. Essentially they get bigger when the person likes what they see, and may shrink slightly when they don’t like what they see. You may have known this as well, but have you considered how to use this little secret of the eyes?

The obvious application of this knowledge is to watch the pupil size of the person in front of you. When his or her pupils are growing large – that person likes you or is interested in you. By itself this could be useful to know, but there is more.

You see, it isn’t just what you see that affects pupil size, but what you see in your mind as well. Imagining your hearts desire, or even your favorite fishing spot, can make your pupils grow larger as surely as actually seeing these things. The more vivid your imagination, the more pronounced the effect on your pupil size.

The Pupil Trick

Now to the eye trick. Go right now and look in the mirror at your own eyes. While paying attention to the pupils, imagine a sexy man or woman you are attracted to – in whatever way would turn you on. With a good imagination, you’ll see your pupils grow larger in just seconds.

Try other imagined scenes as well. A beautiful mountain that you once climbed may cause the same effect if you can remember it well enough. Vividly imagining anything that you like to look at can make your pupils bigger.

Now, once you find the things that stimulate the fastest and greatest response in your pupils, you can keep those images ready. Any time you want to make your pupils suddenly grow larger, you will be able to.

Why would you want to, apart from amazing a few friends with your new "talent?" Well, there are ways to use this trick to subliminally influence people, for starters. In addition, knowing how pupils work can be used to read minds to an extent, and in more than the obvious way of determining whether someone likes you or not.

These more practical applications are beyond the scope of this article however. For now, you can at least go impress someone with this eye trick.

Great Mind Reading Trick

December 17th, 2008

This eye mind tricks post deals with a simple but fail proof way to "read minds". It is a mind trick done using a deck of cards. There are two parts for it, but I will give you the second part, the part you go to if the initial trick doesn’t go as planned.

Briefly, you have told someone to think of a card and done your best to steer him to think of a particular card. You ask him what the card is and he tells you a different card than you have placed in your pocket. So you say to him, "That’s just what I was mind controlling you to say." He is not buying that you knew. You tell him that before you left home, you told your wife what the card was (the card he picked).

So you get on the phone. To him it looks like it is ringing a while, then you say, "Hello, Sue. Yes, I am here with Dan and he wants to talk to you."

What really happened during that time, is that when Dan thought the phone was ringing, Sue had already picked up as pre-briefed and started listing the value of cards Two, Three, Four, etc. When you said "Hello Sue." She stopped on the value of the card. Then she started going through the suits Spade, Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs. When you said "Yes, I’m here…." She knew the suit and when Dan gets on the line can tell him his exact card.

Simple eye mind trick and VERY effective.

Types of Mind Tricks

December 17th, 2008

There are various categories of magic tricks. The illusions fall into the following areas:

1. Penetration. Includes passing of a foam ball through a cup, joining of two steel rings that appear to have no gap in the link, etc.

2. Restoration. Includes a person sawn in half and then rejoined, the newspaper torn to bits and then reformed, a line cut in half and reunited, etc.

3. Transformation. Includes mainly card tricks. Many variations, but usually when an audience member picks a card and the magician guesses the card or does some amazing misdirection to include "changing" the card, "placing" the card in a different location, etc.

4.Teleportation. These tricks are very popular and involve an object is transferred from one place to another with no obvious link between the two. Disappearing magician to appear in the crowd, vanishing large equipment, moving a coin from one box to another, etc.

5. Production. Think: pulling a rabbit out of a hat. This category involves anything where the magician pulls something out of thin air. About the oldest trick in the book.

6. Levitation. Involves the mysterious lift of objects vertically off surfaces. Raising the assistant into the air, raising cards, raising coins, etc.
